MSC - IMPORT - EQUIPMENT IMBALANCE SURCHARGE (EIS) + OVERWEIGHT SURCHARGE (OWS) FROM FAR EAST TO SOUTH AMERICA EAST COAST

Dear customer,

Due to the great difficulties in supplying empty equipment in Asia, in particular the 20' containers for dry cargo, MSC will implement an Equipment Imbalance Surcharge (EIS) from Far East exports to South America East Coast.

USD 200 x 20' (dry cargo)

Kindly note that the Overweigh Surcharge (OWS) will be adjusted as follows:

OWS

Far East to South America East Coast.

Effective from: August 1st, 2010 (b/l date)
OWS from USD 150 x 20' to USD 200 x 20'(above 18 tons of cargo).
OWS from USD 150 x 20' to USD 300 x 20' (above 21 tons of cargo).

Above OWS is subject to nomination fee for heavy test containers as follow:

South PRC outports     CNY100 per unit
Chiwan	                  CNY250 per unit

• SPRC outports include: Beihai, Fangcheng, Foshan, Haikou, Huangpu, Jiangmen, Nanhai, Shunde, Wuzhou, Panyu, Zhanjiang, Zhaoqing, Zhongshan, Zhuhai.
